With rare entrepreneurial flare, foresight, and efficiency, she established her well-earned reputation in 2007 when she founded Merchant Payment Solutions, Inc. As the electronic payment processing company’s CEO, she built it from the ground up — in the midst of an economic turndown — to more than 1,000 accounts nationwide totaling over $300 million in annual credit card transactions, and some 20 employees. Her strong strategic and tactical decision-making, managerial talent, and business acumen contributed to revenue increases of more than $1 million each year while dropping costs consistently, resulting in a banner year and subsequent buyout offer she accepted. All while maintaining her trademark honesty and integrity.

The sale enabled Veronica to focus full-time on her other passions: acquisition, investment, and management of multifamily apartment buildings. In addition, she is currently drawing on her business expertise to build Gen28 Media, a company that produces inspirational and empowering content.

Veronica earned her degree from California State University at Fullerton and has bolstered her undergraduate education and real-world experience over the years with advanced training at renowned business institutes. Such training includes studying business operations and growth at the E-Myth Coaching and Training Program and a five-month intensive on business consulting at The Institute for Repurposing Business.

She has since assisted numerous business owners and companies in successfully creating new business plans, improving sales and marketing, and enhancing customer service. Veronica completed MBA courses at USC Marshall School of Business to further enhance her entrepreneurial, managerial, and leadership aptitude.

Veronica’s commitment to community reaches far and wide, from volunteering at the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and on local and international church initiatives, to frequent financial support of students and teachers at Santa Ana Unified School District, Saddleback Church, and other organizations that promote causes for children and young adults. While wellgrounded, Veronica clearly believes the sky’s the limit — and proved it through extensive aviation training, culminating with her commercial pilot license and position as a former flight instructor.
